Horses & Jana

One Spirit, one soul at liberty that is my philosophy here at Hopeland. All the souls here are free to be.
All is one, humans, animals, trees, plants even the rocks. Energy flows here and all are in balance, or vortex.
Horses brought me message of love, acceptance, gratitude, inner direction, kind of mystical, spiritual experience. My relationship with horses has been catalyst for physical emotional and spiritual healing. They are sentient caring souls and they were meant to be in my life at a certain time for a special purpose. They choose me just as I choose them; connection is on a deep soul level. Through them I receive messages from god, Spirit, higher power, to help me gain greater awareness that I am and why am I here.
I have learned about myself and others through them and how to apply theses experiences in my life to see the bigger picture. They represent unconditional love, gratitude, patience, kindness, hope, compassion, joy, helped me face my fears, fight my demands, deal with change, heal, trust,
I have learned through observing and listening to them to be in harmony with all. I don’t see the world as black and white, I believe all is equal.
Its time to give back to the horse.
Last few years we are discovering that horses are in our lives for different reason than just are our toys. Up to now they did what ever it is we asked them to do, they were the students and we the teachers its time to switch places. They are the teachers and the messengers from Spirit which we are, and need to reconnect with that energy once again, if we want to survive this shift. Mother Nature is sending us all the help and has been very patient with us. Horses are very willing to stand by us as we walk through the gate of humanity, they are the gate keepers.
What we need to realize is that they also need to be cared for in a different way in these times. Everything has changed and we need to provide different kind of care than we did before.
It’s like starting all over, we need to get off our horses backs and stand beside them, look them in the eye, feel their breath and be still for a moment so we can hear.
Its time to take their metal shoes off, bits out of their mouth, saddles that fit us but perhaps not them as they were not meant to be ridden in a first place.
They cannot be lock inn small 12 by 12 cubicles, and be fed breakfast , lunch and dinner, they are not humans, they are free spirits and their system is designed to have food 24 /7, roughage  as well as grazing when ever they please to. Grazing is natural exercise for horses as they lower their head down and walk while they are grazing. They need to express their emotions by running, bucking or playing with another horse.
I cater to a horse here at Hopeland. I represent them and translate their language to humans so we can all benefit from our relationship. We cannot only take from them we must give back so harmony and balance can take place. Many times just like dogs , horses will take the owners energy on ,even illness or pain, so its important to provide healthy  care for them as well to get to know them .
It’s a huge responsibility to have a horse in our lives and I want to make sure everyone understands that.
I offer programs where people learn to understand them and what they need to survive in these times My horses are kept as natural as possible , just like in the wild , I provide food and safe place and try not to interfere to much, in return they give me back so much .
For me showing is not important anymore, I believe it’s just all about money, but spending quality time with them and learn to understand and listen to them, taking care of them, is great honor.
On their behalf I thank you   Jana
